Bacon & Broccoli Quiche (Slow Cooker)

Slow cooker recipes don’t get much easier than this crust-free quiche.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli (chopped)
  • 6 pieces bacon (optional)
  • 1 tbsp bacon grease (or butter)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried mustard
  • 1 tbsp horseradish sauce
    • Directions

      • If using bacon, then cook it on the stovetop or microwave and grease slow cooker with bacon grease (or butter).
      • Add the chopped broccoli to the bottom of the slow cooker.
      • Combine eggs, half & half, cheese, salt, pepper, dried mustard, and horseradish sauce. Pour the mixture over the broccoli.
      • Chop & sprinkle bacon on top.
      • Cook on LOW for 3 – 3 1/2 hours.
