The People's Reciplex

Vegetarian Chopped Liver

The secret to this recipe is that it be very buttery and look and taste very little like real chopped liver.
5 lb bag of onions
Whole bunch of green beans
2 hard boiled eggs
Some walnuts
Half (to whole) stick of butter
Salt
Chop the green beans and boil them until noticeably limp.
Chop onions and throw them in a large skillet with the butter. Cook until caramelized.
Throw in green beans and cooks some more.
Chop up eggs and throw them in.
If you’re feeling feisty, chop up walnuts and throw them in as well.
Add a whole bunch of salt. Put in more butter if it makes you feel good.
Cook some more, until someone tells you that you are ruining their skillet.
If you have some kind of food processor, you can throw everything in and chop this dish up some more. Ideally, it is supposed to be a light brown, but I prefer my veggie chopped liver more green and green-beany.
