Yogurt Smoothie
It’s hard to go wrong with fruit, yogurt, and a blender… but there’s one little trick to avoid a lumpy not-smoothie and no ice is necessary here.
1 banana (uh, peeled)
1 small handful of blueberries or other fruit
3-4 spoonfuls of frozen yogurt (vanilla is a good choice)
8 oz plain or fruit yogurt
optional: a couple drops of vanilla extract
Put the banana, other fruit, and a few spoonfuls of frozen yogurt in a blender or food processor. WAIT to put in the rest of the yogurt.
Blend the crap out of just the fruit and the frozen yogurt – good to do this at least a full minute.
Add the rest of the yogurt and blend for 10-20 seconds. YUM
